I still feel like Rico is a lame regardless of his comeuppance of being a shyt bird heel.

Dude been the wrestling equivalent of K Rino since he was wrestling 3 foot 2 wrestlers in Dragon Gate :manny:

i saw someone post video from jdfromny earlier giving his usual complaints. apparently it was regarding the cc and how its ospreay vs fletcher again and how they changed the rules on the tourney. he was saying how fletcher "needs to win the tourney". now i dont know if i agree with him. i think the best finals matchup would be ospreay vs okada with ospreay going over. let fletcher get the win in australia if anything. tho not sure how many matches they could do between those 2. i think okada def should drop the belt and move on to main event scene. ricochet likely going into a program with swerve so not sure if he'll need a title. ospreay might be best choice.
I thought he was spot on

Why have him beat Okada & Osprey only not to have him win this tournament

And the #1 in one bracket facing the #2 in another makes no sense imo

Promotion and relegation are decided by that system in soccer. In England's 2nd division, the 3rd through 6th place teams face each other in a playoff. In other leagues, the team facing relegation to a lower league faces the 1st place team in the division below :yeshrug:

It's also how seeding in most sports work lol.. You wouldn't have the #1 seed face the other #1 seed in the semifinals. That would be dumb.

Also, on the thing about Fletcher... in these round robin tournaments the idea isn't supposed to be that the one winner is the only thing that matters. If Fletcher beat Ospreay and then Ospreay went on to say win a world title or something, Fletcher would be able to say that he has a win over the current champion thus setting up a future feud.

People can complain about booking all they want but people should at least know what point they are trying to argue

I mean 1&2 from different leagues

I have no problem if it was the same leagues:yeshrug:

I think that's how the g1 does it. Not sure what other tourney does, not thinking wrestling related. I think that's how the world cup does it but maybe someone that knows more about the sport can give more info. Makes sense cuz having okada vs fletcher and will vs rico again would've been too much. Bad thing is winners gotta wrestle twice at the ppv but it gives fans extra matches to enjoy. Like the semi matches won't be bad at all, maybe will and kyle better then rico and okada.

What won't make sense may be having kyle go against either heel if he advances. Maybe they turn Okada? Doubt Rico advances but he turning heel anyways. Gonna be interesting to see what they do with Okada during and after the ppv.

Ricochet losing in the finals can be the catalyst to fully turn him heel

The main reason is because everyone in each league has already fought so you are trying to avoid rematches until the final.

Switching up the final 4 matchups shouldn’t be an issue with fans. It’s the last 4 competitors going at it anyway. I don’t remember how it was last year, but I like this twist to it. And let’s keep it 100, the winner is already booked. :comeon:

It’s not consistent with what they did last year, which is part of why it’s an issue.
