Mercedes Moné via MonéMag:
"Oh, speaking of Mariah, let's spill some tea! She's just one of the many trying to hitch a ride on the Mercedes Moné hype train! You know how it is—when you're not in the spotlight as much, you start throwing names around like confetti. But let's be real, the one name that makes everyone's ears perk up? Yep, that's right, it's mine!
I mean, come on, I'm used to this! It's not like I haven't seen this movie before. If I spent my time responding to every little comment or side-eye, I'd have zero time left for my fabulous CEO life! Everyone wants to talk about me, tweet about me, and hop on the Moné Express. It's flattering, really!
And Mariah May, sweetie, I still remember you as that fan girl promoting wrestling shirts, dreaming of just getting a taste of the spotlight. Well, guess what? I'm hiring for a shop girl over at MercedesMone. com! So, if you want to level up your game, slide on over! But let's keep it real—you've gotta bring more than just a dream to the table." This is in response to Mariah May's comments on "Close-up with Renee Paquette".
When asked how it feels to have someone the magnitude of Mercedes Moné join the company: “I don’t care. Honestly, half the time I don’t know she stepped in here, because I don’t know if you know this, but she has her own locker room, so she says she’s here to help, and she cares so much. So come into our locker room, come into our tiny, little locker room, and help us. Teach us. Share your knowledge from all these years of experience you’ve apparently had. But no, she’s sitting in her locker room and she’s writing her little Moné Mag, her little magazine. I mean, how many people are reading that magazine? Who actually cares about your magazine? Because I care about women’s wrestling and I care about being on the showing getting more than 10 minutes. So if you care, come and step in the ring with me.”
When asked if she felt slighted by Mercedes getting more TV time when she’s not the AEW Women’s World Champion: “Yeah, I do, because I think I’m better."
