So what's this really all about? Because Fenix had a few months of injury time added on? Doesn't that happen in wrestling all the time?

What's different about THIS situation....

Anyone?

Seems like the story is true about Konnan brokering a deal with WWE and having merch and a debut date set while still being under aew contract. I’d do the same thing only I wouldn’t have them on ice that long

Its like this...

If I had a roster that consists of past, present, and future greatness. A few of my employees want to chuck the peace because stuff, and they are not doing much but asking for mustard in the back. I'm not adding time to the contract :why: .

I'm letting them do them and focusing on my GOATed roster that's sticking around.

Pettiness is not moving anything but ego, and power trips.

So if the Konnan stuff is true, you’re fine with your employees making moves behind your back while the broker parades around talking about deals with the competition while still under contract with the company? That’s disrespectful and even tampering. It seems like the Konnan rumors are true if TK went to these lengths to add on dates due to the injury.

It’s funny how dudes were shytting on TK for not being a boss and when he pulls boss moves (albeit petty but understandable ones), everyone acts like he’s the bad guy. Can’t win with yall. :dead:

On the real, Luchadores never mesh well beyond Lucha Libre and Puro. Except for a few like Rey and em, most of the wrestlers either get lost in midcard hell, or botching to all hell.
Rey Jr. might be legit the only dude in that sphere that ever broke out and he's a once in multi generation masked lucha guy to cross over. It's literally him and Mascaras in the 70s as the only guys pushed as lucha guys to break into top star guy level. Eddie was never pushed as a lucha guy in ECW/WCW/WWE, but Rey has been that guy for nearly 30 fukking years now and not a single guy has come close to the impact as him since 1996.

I would argue Fenix was the closest thing to Rey in 1996/1997 since then but he also will never be close to what Rey was in WCW or what he ended up being in WWE, even when Fenix goes to WWE.

Rey is a unicorn and every major promotion has been trying to get their own Rey since 1996 and no one has ever been able to fill that role and almost assuredly never will. It's not a knock on any of these guys that various promotions have tried to push in that role, but Rey is Rey and no one else is Rey.

There's no Macho replacement, no Bret replacement, no Misawa replacement, no Inoki replacement, and no Rey replacement.

Passive aggressiveness...
One thing I noticed here is you cannot say anything that goes against the majority. They want it to be one way and as soon as you say the opposite the labels start to fly out of their mouth.

You try to have a reasonable convo and the labels still come out. I get why so many people left: this shyt becomes tiring with the derailments. One of the reasons why I cut back posting here is because it’s the same song and dance. It’s unbelievable how far this sub has fallen off.
