ABOUT GALAXYCON LLCGalaxyCon LLC, is the largest independently owned consumer and fan engagement company. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and founded by Mike Broder in 2006, GalaxyCon is made for fans, by fans. The company organizes pop culture, anime, and horror-themed events across the United States. Celebrities and fans are united at the festival of fandom in often overlooked locations. Events in Oklahoma City, Raleigh, Columbus, Richmond, and San José attract between 20,000 and 50,000 fans for each show. Additionally, GalaxyCon presents Animate! and Nightmare Weekend throughout the year, reaching more consumers and fans. GalaxyCon is more than a comic con, it is a celebration of fandom.
Some info about GalaxyCon from the press release since the tweet didn't show it. Its a live show so would be a good idea for them to do more promoting than usual at that event. They should use the days of the convention which run Friday to Sunday or at least Friday and Saturday to promote the company. The hours on Saturday run up to 8pm so thats right until Collision starts. But maybe like meet and greets, Q&A panel, having merch stand to sell things, etc. Fairly decent amount of people seem to attend that event so having things for the fans to buy and do can help bring in more revenue and exposure. Not like there's much difference between the weirdo comic book fans and the ones we come across in the wrestling world anyways.
