NXT women’s division alone is better lol

I never understood this talk from yall. I’m watching NXT strictly for the women and they’re not better than AEW. The addition of Steph and Guilia is helping, and NXT does have talented girls, but to call mostly developmental wrestlers better than seasoned wrestlers is crazy.

Kelani, Sol, Roxy, and Lola are the standouts in the ring. Compared to Mercedes, Toni, Shida, Hayter, Stat, Willow and Queen.

I think they fact NXT features a lot of women weekly, and probably more so than AEW, has you optics looking off.

NXT women's division is still very much a niche audience. In order for something like that to grow to a point where it's running weekly television is a tall order and I'm someone who will be the first to tell you how talented the women are down there.

-Little feuds involving Rosa/Harley, Deonna/Rosa, Ford/Hayter, Saraya/Hayter.

-Willow consistently getting shine.

-The rise of Toni Storm.

-Athena’s dominant ROH title run. (Yeah, we may not watch ROH, but there’s no denying what’s going on with her.)

In NXT it’s mainly focused on Guilia/Steph vs CJ/Roxy right now.

-Kelani didn’t even have a proper feud for the title until 3-4 weeks before she lost it. They did Sol/Kelani as a one time match when they coulda had a little feud going. And now that Zaria is on the roster they’re gonna do something with that belt.

-They’ve been building Jaida/Lola as a nice little feud. Looks like Lyons/Rizzo are gonna do something. Tatum/Choo had a little feud too.

-Every other women’s match starts with some beef in the locker room and most of the times it’s just one match.

to another style of aew content.
That i could appreciate the khan women roster being used on rampage exclusively. Aa well as rhe women ring of honor champion. As well as launching a female pure title for roh as well.

Since 2015 women’s wrestling has finally been taken seriously for the most part

In ring it’s the best it’s ever been now added with current day politics with how women should have equal opportunities as the men in wrestling & not being second place some feel the women should have just as much presents as the men on tv

But when you look at it the only women’s division that could get it’s own show right now is NXT

I'm as much as a dedicated NXT watcher over the last three years as anyone and no, most of those girls have two years max in total ring time and not even consistent.

I get it; Shawn is A+ at making compelling characters, but, take Jaida Parker (who I love), she was carried to her best match by legit the best woman in Roxanne--who deserves to have a long ass reign because she legit passing out the best match of women's short career.

Majority of people in NXT aren't as good as ppl say they are...even Trick.

Guilia & Roxanne (and I guess I can include Jordanne because she's basically all but signed) are the only legit great female wrestlers in NXT.

Lash is dope, but, we've only seen her in spurts and tag team matches.

Raw and Smackdown together has a case, if we talking 5 matches and one of them being a tag team title match.

But, we not getting Rhea vs Bianca. And Liv's matches are universally panned over the last few months.

Chelsea makes matches must see TV. Michin is a great enchancement talent.

Then you got a bunch of people only Twitter IWC stans want to see.

I don't see it.

It's like wanting a 205 Live to come back.

People forget, THIS is the roster (I took out injured people).

It's hella top heavy.

No one ever gave a shyt about Mariah. Even as Toni’s lackey she wasn’t getting much response.

I don’t get why they need to be on Dynamite when there’s 3 shows to build talent on. That’s what they’ve been doing with the side feuds.

Hayter is just getting back into it. Like almost any other talent that takes time off, they can’t just be thrown into a big feud.

The only way fans are gonna react to these wrestlers is for THEM to get themselves over. TK can give them a platform, but he’s not in the seats deciding if he likes what he sees. Look at Harley. She’s slowly getting over because she has something working for her. What exactly is Mariah doing to get heat/over? Look pretty?

And the reason for that is because the personalities of the talent. Both broads don’t take shyt. We all know Lola is the fierce Latina and Jaida the type that don’t give a fukk. This goes back to the talent getting it to work the way it has.

Yes, Dynamite is the A show, but not every feud is worth the spot. You want Hurt Syndixate on Collision and have Deonna/Taya take up Dynamite time?

• Have PFC actually wreck shyt -- he had them losing more than half they matches
• Have The Witches in constant backstage fukkery
• Turn Zelina heel and have her in a long term program with Lyra (give her the babyface push)
• Party Girls vs. Iyo/Kairi for a few weeks ala Melo v. Andrade
• Give Michin a short Women's title run

It don't even have to be weekly matches, some of these women ain't been on tv 5 times in 2024.
But, we get Judgement Day for half of RAW and Bloodline for half of Smackdown

HHH had plenty of time after WM40 to book something different/fun on Smackdown and he didn't---Bloodline 2.0 had to be a thing immediately.

Rhea will be hurt for the second time this year and will miss prolly another 4 months...and we know he just gon' keep her plate warm in the oven for her to win Elimination Chamber to go straight for a title shot at Wrestlemania, again.
