Forbidden Door is in London next year. I assume Rosa (and Mina) getting entwined in the British scene lately is laying ground work for that. :yeshrug:

Rosa and Nina Samuels built a good little angle between All In and tonight and UK titles tend to have long reigns since the shows are less frequent (Nina was over 800 days with this belt) so no need for either of them to drop before FD next year when they can put over some British talent on AEW TV.

Keep that simmering while Rosa takes the belt on tour to give it some recognition then pay it off as the undercard women's match on FD.

And feed Mina to Rhio on Zero Hour:demonic:

Or do a unification fatal fourway so it only takes up one match :yeshrug:

Either way, AEW wrestlers don't just win indie titles in the same city as FD without Tony's involvement even if just to OK it.

If that is the play, You don’t think the better play for laying ground work would be to do it on AEW TV…?

Keller: That Young Bucks storyline where they took, they use their EVP powers to try to take over when Tony was gone and in the neck brace. That storyline kind of fizzled because Tony Khan did not want even in storyline, viewers to think he wasn't responsible for everything happening on the shows

“The extent to which Tony wants credit, and this is just kind of crazy. But that Young Bucks storyline where they took, they use their EVP powers to try to take over when Tony Khan was gone and in the neck brace. That storyline kind of fizzled because Tony Khan did not want even in storyline, viewers to think he wasn't responsible for everything happening on the shows, and it just ran out of steam because everybody lost interest because there's no way to do the angle.
As originally conceived, if the Bucks did have control, and Tony Khan didn't want even in storyline, someone else booking the show. Even if he was approving of all the decisions the Bucks did in character. So basically, some people are shocked because it seemed to come out of nowhere because he was well-liked and respected.”

I was thinking earlier, maybe they should do something special on Dynamite. Its on the 30th in Cleveland. Looks like they had the same idea. They should make it a big event where some important matches happen. Like if they doing Stat vs Mercedes at Full Gear, maybe do Stat and Camille there. As well as whatever other small feuds that may not be good enough or capable of being on the ppv due to space. Another example is if its Lashley and Swerve at FG do Shelton and Swerve there. Could even have Lashley debut that night to then build up for the match.

Seen a video earlier about that being one of the main things that drove Cody out

Maybe, but you've got to build relationships with the indies if you're going to use them like that and that includes helping them score big houses like last night.

Nina got a Collision match during All In weekend, a clip of Thunder Rosa gatecrashing Riot Cabaret's All In show got shown on AEW TV multiple times and RC got a sold out house for this match off the back of it and I'd be surprised if it gets no mention on TV this week.

If they just took Nina and the belt and did it all on AEW TV people would be arguing about them stamping on the indies. It's hard to know how they can win in some eyes:yeshrug:
