Loved it. Loved the twist. Felt like a Star Wars flick. The first one was a bit better, but still a great sequel.

I want to check this out, but I am out of town at the moment and nowhere near a theater. I loved the first one, hated the Batman one, and really liked the Ninjago one.

This was a massive disappointment to me, starting with the fact the movie had no new LEGO characters and all the focus was on the ugly girly DUPLO shyt. I get it's part of the storyline they were going for, but having a bunch of ugly girly designs on top of the overdone scifi stuff really killed the world building of the first movie. It also felt like they didn't even try to make the movie as loaded with jokes as the first one, like there are a bunch of stretches here that are painfully dull. When they actually bother to write some jokes, Lord and Miller prove they still got it, but this movie felt like it needed at least a couple more rewrites to become recommendable.

Finally caught it. Started off slow where I thought it would be a disappointment but the twist made the last arc pretty entertaining IMO.

this was so fukking trash, can't believe it's part of the LEGO Movie franchise (OG lego movie, batman, and ninjago were funny AF to me), not sure if they decided to just make it for kids, if they just couldn't recapture the magic or what, but damn, i was so disappointed.
