Pacquiao managed to say he thought he won the fight vs Mayweather.... but vs this Horn kid dude just respects the judges decisions :martin:

Bradley all over Horn's dikk for some reason too, da fukk? Giving him all kinds of credit because he's....... boxing, lol. Coincidentally they both have controversial wins over Pac.

Didn't even finish watching last night as I needed to sleep a bit.

All the people are saying robbery and I'm just thinking predictable. In boxing we see it time and time again. As you age, unless you completely dominate you will get that L.

First half last night I saw Manny struggle with Horn's style and figured it would go the distance after the 5th and went to bed :flabbynsick:

Arum went over there for a money grab and further ruined his fighter's legacy. Manny is just about shot, and when you're in a country that hasn't had a huge fight in years, you have to go and take it.

People thought the Bradley loss was a robbery, but Manny has a lot of instances where he does absolutely nothing but the commentators will have you thinking he's halfway killing someone.

Picture Floyd struggling with this caliber of opponent. :hhh: Now this guy is going to chase Floyd around trying to hit the lottery and he can't even fight. No way Floyd jumps in there and risks getting headbutt all night for a 5 figure pay day.

ESPN and Arum got a goldmine here :whoo:

He showing Haymon and HBO how to do this shyt
PBC had way more competitive fights on espn, but ESPN's lead boxing writer went out of his way to diminish and sabotage them so :manny:

Only way Arum could get this kind of attention was to throw his golden goose in there

Pac is damn there 40...it's only a matter of time before he start looking his age. If Horn could survive the distance and give a respectable showing rd to rd...they might give it to him out there in Australia.

If you got few 100 dollars laying around that you ain't doing nothing with...you might come up on a lick putting it on Horn.

y'all tripping with this robbery talk

it was a close fight, 115-113 Horn is justifiable. He clearly won at least 3 rounds in the first six and 2 out of the last 3, that's already 5, it's okay if you don't agree with the scoring but this was no robbery.

Pac looked old, small and vulnerable and he let Horn to physically manhandle him and outwork him. Pac fought in spots, it was a horrible showing from him even compared to his recent form, he should call it a day and retire because - even though Horn is also better than we all thought - he's gonna be food for any current top welters and Crawford too

The ESPN commentary during the fight...and all the hyperbole & theatrics from ESPN's talking heads in the aftermath is definitely swaying folks.

tbh I think neither ESPN nor HBO nor anyone should show punch stats and unofficial scores because they sway the public's opinion extremely. They are the same category basically cause Compubox is also counted by somebody and we don't even know who that is... :patrice: He probably has his biases and preferences just like everyone only difference is his opinion gets the spotlight and influences tons of people who are watching. Unofficial Lederman, Atlas, Farhood, etc... scorecards too but in those cases at least these are presented as opinions not factual stats and we can connect the opinion to faces and names.

I hear Boxnation had it for Horn too btw... :yeshrug:
So the point is it would be better if they would not show any unofficial scoring and stats during fights cause those are far from factual there's no true need for them by anyone and they sway the public's opinion.

Folks need to calm down, it was a debatable decision but not a robbery and Manny fought horribly compared to his usual self. Age caught up on him, he should call it a day.
