Garvey said no such thing, as the promises of the civil rights movement had yet to exist.

And no….he didnt have elders to tell him that as elders didnt have a post civil rights movement to come to such a conclusion.

What is it about some of you dudes who try so hard to minimize things?

Marcus Garvey didnt talk about the rise of China to economically challenge the US. Elders werent passing that down.

Some of you just talk to talk
Garvey indeed talked about these times. And we’ve been over all of this back on ASR/L2H years ago. These aren’t new discussions. Trips me out whenever I see one of you nikkas act like you’re discovering something for the first time and now you’re “dropping knowledge.”

You’ve been able to reinvent yourself as some kinda “race man” over here, but I remember you getting clowned for being a c00n on those boards back in the day.

Give me an example of Marcus Garvey talking about a post civil rights era that Amos Wilson was speaking on. Amos is speaking on a nation regressing. Regressing from the rise Marcus never seen exist. How was Marcus in a place to speak on such a thing? :mindblown:
You name dropping Marcus Garvey but you cannot quote anything indicating him talking about the post civil rights era that Amos speaking on. And to align Amos to someone pushing things to vote Democrat. :laff: That is the dumbest shyt I have ever read. This is a garbage attempt to try to sound contrarian intelligent

He isn’t saying anything new, we just have a buncha scared lazy nikkas who think all we have to do is vote democrat every 4 years and that’s all the “fighting” we need to do.

Amos Wilson on the Democratic party.

You are among the dumbest folks on this board.

Marcus Garvey did not address the contemporary issues Amos spoke on, so to lie and say this was passed on by the elders is such trash.

Plain trash. You are a shyt poster

But I know who you are. And if you knew so much you’d know Garvey absolutely spoke on issues we’re facing today.

You don't know shyt. You can't quote Marcus Garvey speaking on issues today. Nothing about you says you've read any literature about Marcus Garvey.

Amos talks about the rise of China. The Chinese revolution that elevated China took place nine years after Marcus died. :mindblown:

the term "people of color" didn't exist during Marcus time, so Amos saying it would be weaponized against us came from Marcus how?
Please....provide examples.

And the lying about being run off a board. What board? by all means, author this fantasy. I'm all ears.

Wtf are you even taking about? “People of color?” nikka what are you talking about?

I can quote plenty of Garvey. Just like I can quote Brother Amos, Malcolm, Carlos Cooks, Walter Rodney, or any other number of Black scholars.

But “quoting” them isn’t enough if you don’t understand what they’re talking about, which you obviously do not. You just like to run around “quoting” whatever Black Elder you’ve discovered this week, which is why you can’t draw the connection from Garvey’s words to someone like an Amos Wilson.

And if you think the “Chinese Revolution” was behind the cause of China’s rise then you need to get back in the books because you truly don’t understand what occurred and the political deals that were made. That’s if you even know.

And you’re denying you used to post on ASR/L2H under the same username?

But you havent. And you wont. Amos talked about the contemporary state of the US in 1992.

You can’t quote shyt that ties to what Amos was speaking on in that speech.
