Has the 90 million budget ever been confirmed? One day it just kind of popped up of out of nowhere and the only thing referencing it from is 1 article that seems like they just pulled the number out of a hat.

Boxofficemojos article says the budget is could be 70 million to 90 million.

With the amount of cgi this movie has 90 mil seems reasonable and there's been a lot of marketing done for this film

Yeah,it seems reasonable, I was just generally curious.

I wonder how it does over seas. I know the studio had plans for a sequel/franchise but movie never seemed like it was gonna be that big.

These cgi heavy movies do well internationally for some reason but we'll see with this film. I gotta check out how riddikk did internationally

Curiousity has gotten the better of me so Ive been digging around, seems like every article is saying different things so who knows whats the actual truth. Seems like most of them are pulling shyt out of their ass.

I found this

The budget for this Lionsgate co-financed production was $75M-$80M. Foreign territories were sold off in advance to cover the budget with Lionsgate’s exposure at $10M, which went toward P&A.

Who knows if thats true.

Saw this tonight.

Wasnt bad at all :ehh: granted it wasnt great either. Saw it with 3 others they all agreed on that.

All in all it was a passable entertaining popcorn flick. Had a few nice scenes. I dont get the harsh reviews at all.

It was bit exposition heavy in parts but it was expected as they had to world build and all that.

It actually reminded me a lot of the film adaption of Constantine while I was watching it. Instead of this underground world of angels and demons it was witches and warlocks.

Wasnt even that cgi heavy honestly. Wasnt too cheesey but didnt take itself too seriously.

Id watch a sequel :yeshrug:
