Now, RIP to the victims and this is NOT meant as disrespect whatsoever.

Anyway, I feel the LAST time the United States was united was when 9/11 happened. Let's be honest, regardless of religion and race we stood strong My point? I think we should be united again. Only this time by positivity Now, we must also acknowledge that bigotry and classicism exists Racial profiling also exists, but we need to address those problems. African Americans, Native Americans, and etc have helped this country I want to do my part to be involved. Just like I was when I volunteered on the 8th..


Point being, elections are over and we need to come together. I've always been a realist, but I want equal rights for all people. I made this thread because we CAN'T be united until we address the issues facing minorities and working class people. Until then, we will ALWAYS be divided. Also, I try to tell people we need to fight the OLIGARCHS.

The Anti Muslim sentient and hate crimes committed afterwards, would make you think only White American Christians died in that attack. And there-in lies the problem. After 9/11 there were no talks of "Let us not let these extremist make us hate all Muslims" nah. There was an innate fear and hatred of Islam as a whole after that attack. Thing is, when White extremist do the attacking, there is a call for calm, a call for peace, and a call for understanding by White people towards those who were attacked. And the victims of those attacks themselves seem to call for, forgiveness and peace.

But when the roles are reversed, white folks will and do call for unity. But the unity they call for is only under a veil of hatred for the enemy or anyone they PERCEIVE as the enemy(How they called out BLM after the Micah Johnson incident is a prime example).

White people will unite with Black people, so long as Black people walk lock-step with the Dominant White ideology in their particular area of the nation. If you're black, and hate Muslims nd hate Mexicans, Whites will welcome you into the fold(as long as you hate them for the reasons THEY hate them and not because of some sort of twisted Black empowerment viewpoint )

My friend said it back in like 2003 when we were 14:

"Black people are starting have it easier after 9/11, because Muslims took our place "

Its literally IMPOSSIBLE for the people of this country to be "united" because of how this country itself was built (slavery, racism, murder, rape, etc).

As long as people have knowledge of past history, that elephant (hate) will always be in the room.

The only way unity will ever be achieved is if an entire new generation of people is born with no way to gain knowledge of past history or if an alien invasion happened
