Da Speculative Spectacle®
Did y'all hear about Tracy getting in an accident yesterday. He bought a new 2 million dollar Bugatti and was side swiped in it a few hours after purchasing it. He wasn't hurt though and it wasn't serious at all.
This won't last more than 1 season...I can feel it
The Last O.G.‘s Dessert Loaf
By PARADE

This gloriously junky treat is from by Tray Barker, inspired by the TBS series, The Last O.G. (season two premieres on Tuesday, April 2). The show stars comedian Tracy Morgan as Barker, an ex-con trying to realize his culinary dreams in his now-gentrified Brooklyn neighborhood.
“If I didn’t have kids, this dessert loaf would be the greatest creation of my life!” says Tray. “Made with a mix of every delicious snack and candy from the [prison] commissary, this stuff will surely make your left food to numb. But it’s worth it. Trust me.”

INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature, plus more for greasing
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp Hennessey
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- 2¾ cups all-purpose flour, plus more for rolling
- 10 Tbsp Reese’s Pieces, divided
- ½ cup coarsely crushed Traditional Chex Mix
- 1 (3- to 4- oz) dark chocolate bar, broken into pieces and melted
- ½ cup Traditional Chex Mix, finely crushed
KITCHEN COUNTER
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl or stand mixer, cream butter and sugar 1-2 minutes. Add Hennessey, salt, and 1 Tbsp water; beat until until smooth. Add flour; beat until a stiff dough forms. Stir in ½ cup Reese’s Pieces and ½ cup coarsely crushed Chex Mix by hand. On a lightly floured surface, divide dough in half. Roll each half into a smooth log, about 2 inches thick. Place prepared baking sheet 2 inches apart. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
- Bake 55-60 minutes or until completely dry looking. Cool on sheet 15 minutes. (Loaves will be very soft at first but will harden.)
- Drizzle loaves with melted chocolate. Sprinkle with remaining 2 Tbsp Reese’s Pieces and finely crushed Chex Mix, pressing to adhere. Refrigerate 30 minutes to set. Remove from refrigerator and let rest, covered in an airtight container, at least 4 hours and up to 1 day. (This resting period is necessary so loaves will slice well and not crumble.) Use a serrated knife to slice into ½-inch-thick cookies.
