I like how in the show joel flat out says he doesn’t know how the dam generates electricity and ellie says she would have believed him if he made it up, and in the game he pretend to know how it does it and she says you don’t really know do you

I like little nods to the source material like that, even if its not 1:1

Yeah, this show continues to nail it week after week

Old Man Joel living with the fear of failure and Ellie living with the fear of being left alone . Pedro Pascal really has this dad shyt on lock between Grogu and Ellie. He really is a versatile actor considering he came on most people's radar with GOT where he was so charismatic and energetic, while he is nailing the stoic silence that comes with playing Joel.

Bella Ramsey is killing it as Ellie.

This series has gone beyond just being one of the best videogame adaptations, it can stand toe to toe with some of the best recent shows put on television.
