I know a lot of shows only send out 4 episodes early for reviewers so that's the only way that makes sense to me that this wasn't hyped over episode 3.

great acting all around outside of Kathleen, who it just seems was terribly miscasted. Bella Ramsey is great as Ellie, what was all the concerns about? She seems like a talented actor

Making Sam deaf was brilliant. It made the final payoff better than in the game, imo. When she woke up I was like why wouldn’t he have already
attacked her??

Because if he turned while he wasn’t facing her, he wouldn’t be able to hear her. Dude was in a trance until she tapped him.

if I remember right at the end of the first game you run into two or 3 bloaters in the tunnel before you get to the fireflies
