Unless it's physically impossible to download, a lot of those "physical-only" sales would somehow find their way to digital if they didn't have a choice
That's lost money. Going all digital is assuming that everyone has a great internet connection. There's also the people who like their physical special edition copies. Or those like me who just like having physical copies. I'm in the camp who has a pretty good internet connection, and has said fukk it, I'll just get the digital. In the end it's coming down to the money. Plus, if they release it digitally first, you know everyone is going to stream it and spoil the hell out of it. That will make it so that a lot of people may end up saying fukk it because they know how the story plays out.
