No multiplayer is disappointing. It actually worked in TLOU and forced teamwork. This is a copout IMO.

I played the SP and Left Behind maybe two or three times. Bought it twice, got the platinum, 100%, and I could have moved on but the MP had me hooked all the way to now even buying their DLC. When the stats came out last year TLOU was my most played game. I even met brehs I'm friends with now because of the MP. It's also a huge reason why I never let my ps plus lapse.
They leaving money on the table by scrapping the MP.

Breh I ONLY brought a ps4 becuase I wanted to play uc4 and keep playing the last us mp.

I loaded it up yesterday so I can lowkey get my skills back before the game dropped, party full of level 999's talking cash shyt about how trash I was
I couldn't even be mad though I was getting washed in interrogation. That's why I know half these boys on that
are just trash as fukk in MP. They would rather play the dumb as AI instead of using the same crafting and gun play against humans with elite skills.

Bruh cmon lol. Developers are fully capable of making a great single player while also continuing to support their online portion. Uncharted 2 and TLOU did that and those two are their most critically acclaimed games both for their single player and original multiplayer So when you say it’s generic it’s ironic since TLOU wasn’t (U2 wasn’t and it was their best MP game ever imo, U3 and U4 online did have its issues tho).

I feel like posts like this miss a very simple fact, TLOU 1 has online and has a dedicated (and surprisingly thriving community) after 5 years of release.A lot of y’all seem young as fukk
I’ve been playing games since you had to write down codes just to continue a game..
Where all you had was an single player experience unless you were FGC gang or playing Mario
Where there was no DLC or previews of games unless it was in a magazine
You mad because a studio wants you to focus on the narrative of the game first and then they may release MP..
This is their biggest endeavor..
People played and praise The Last of Us for its story and characters..

Gutting the online essentially puts a portion of your fan base aside. And to top it off avid Uncharted online fans like myself feel the burn too because I know a lot of the Uncharted MP fans were waiting on TLOU 2 MP because U4 online was a disappointment. This is terrible news and it hurt the hype for me.
The ones crying about no MP are the Xbox kids who migrated from 360 to PS4 last gen.
