Been a few weeks since I finished this, man the atmosphere, combat and the overall ride of the story was something else, I loved this game man...ND did not deserve the shytstorm they got for this at all

No lie, i've seen some people who HATED the game. Appreciating the game now. Since Halo Infinite's showcase was so underwhelming. They're saying sorry to ND because NOW that they've SEEN actual lazy, untalented game developers and how bad shyt can get. NOW (better late than never i guess) they see how much hard work was put into TLOU2 (at least graphically) down to the smallest detail. Halo Infinite has been in development for 5 years, over 2000 devs, 500 million in budget, and is next gen. TLOU2 was in development for 7 years (i think), less devs (i believe), around 100 million in budget, and is current gen/made for the ORIGINAL less than 2 Tflops PS4. People can say what they want about ND, and their story for TLOU2 being shyt to them or what not. But they cannot call ND lazy, complacent, untalented etc (in any category imo, and yes that includes storytelling).

I'm currently playing through Uncharted 4 for the first time. I'm only on chapter 8. So far i think it's ok. I feel like one thing that was unappreciated by people is how quick TLOU2 game grabs you. The lore at the very beginning is amazing. Within 2 hours the story, and gameplay grabs you. For instance, you go from a fun playful snowball fight. To shyt hitting the fan not long after. UC4 hasn't really grabbed me. Chapter 7 things heat up a little. A kinda weird example is RDR2 (i don't like RDR2). The first mission where that legendary music play when you start shooting. It makes the player feel like shyt is going down, right away. It grabs you.

I can't lie though. Any game i've played recently. Made me miss TLOU2's atmosphere even more.

uncharted 4 is pretty great, it just had a few boring chapters in Scotland that drag the overall experience down imo, everything else was really good. I think the game would be a lot more consistent and near perfect if those chapters were removed all together

Finally finished dam Ellie Wick and Abbie Rambo put in work.:picard: Those Rattlers hillbilly’s didn’t know the demon’s they were trying to fukk with. The game was great, this game has the greatest reactions from Npc ever. Blow a hole in a nikka and watch his boy scream “Oh my God Jimmy”:damn:, or when you are about to cave someone skull in and they are on some please no:whoa:. Dam the amount of effort to detail that went into this game is insane. From Abbie’s acrophobia and when you take her near a ledge from when she is up high to her heavy breathing and panting. Even out of cut scenes and during regular gameplay the expressions on their faces is amazing. They really put in work with this one and it shows. I am scared this game has spoiled other games for me, when I kill NPC in other games and they don’t have similar reactions I am now going to be.:francis: This game has definitely changed things and set a new bar dam other games be looking real :flabbynsick: this could easily be the greatest game this year and a contender for game of this generation.

Apparently Cyberpunk misses the cut off for GOTY?

if this wins GOTY the emotions are gonna be fukking hilarious

To be honest it deserves it, the weakest aspect is probably the story and to be honest it’s not a bad story just took a narrative turn that people didn’t want. It’s a cliche to say this but it was a bold move from the director, initially I started out hating Abbie but by the end of the story actually liked her. She is heroic, selfless and loyal with a chip on her shoulder due to her history.
I think the point of the story is lost on people, Joel kills Abbie’s dad and her peeps, so her and the remaining squad go out for revenge to kill Joel, then Joel Peeps want revenge so they go out and kill Abbie’s peeps and try and get Abbie. Abbie now gets heated and wants revenge for her peeps and the circle of hate and violence continues. It is rather preachy but the director is merely trying to give the story dept while delivering a message.

Story spoilers.
The most annoying criticism I see..

“they threw Ellie out in favour of Abby, why does Ellie lose her Father, family and fingers, But Abby gets to just sail away unpunished...”

:mindblown:

For what she did to Joel...every single one of her friends/Squad including the man she loved was brutally murdered, she was then forced to work as a slave for 2 months straight under constant abuse, then literally crucified and left to starve to death..what fukking game were these people playing, Abby got way more than her fair share of punishment :heh:

btw breh, I’d put your post in spoiler tags, I nearly posted mine without them too
