I don’t see how people aren’t liking the story of this game. As of right now it’s much better typical end of the world cliche with the humans being worst than the “monsters” troupe. I haven’t beaten the game yet, but so far just from taking cues from the beginning of the game to where I’m at now, I feel like Abby and Ellie are pretty much alike. Their need for vengeance at all cost will not yield an happy ending and undoubtedly will lead to self destruction.

One thing I don't like about this game is you can't restart a section. I keep going into places thinking I'mma explore and the story progresses and i can't go back. it be other shyt i planned on exploring that I miss out on.

I fukking hate it when I have a choice of 2 paths, and I pick the one I think is the non story path cos I’m gonna find some supplies/collectibles, and it turns out to be the story path and I can’t go back, Drives my OCD crazy lol

Played a bit more today. The gameplay has improved greatly but I am not a fan of what they did with the infected AI. Seems like all of their focus is on you and if you're spotted by a stalker all the clickers instantly know your position too. Seems like a decision only made to make encounters more difficult rather than challenging.

I'm at war with myself when I actually have enough supplies to make either health or a molotov

Luckily there's only been about 2 places where I chose the wrong door and it brought me to the next part of the story
