The Last of Us Part II | PS4 | June 19th (NO OPEN SPOILERS)

I played through only a few months ago with my wife (she’s not really a gamer but we were locked down and she just wanted to see what the fuss was about) for the first time in a couple years, This was like my 5th playthrough, and 7 years later I only JUST started to notice the gameplay feeling dated, mainly movement/control wise

Yeah like it's understandable as it's 7 years old so certain things were jank namely the melee kills. Sometimes you'd do the animation to kill an enemy but the weapon isn't even touching the enemy. This was all fixed in Uncharted 4 though which plays way better. Now TLOU 2 will be better than that.

Not gonna lie, the gameplay feels a bit janky at times The shooting/gun sounds is nice but there's been a few times some bullshyt jank happened that killed me. Part 2 being a whole generation later looks like night and day

ya initially I wasn’t excited about TLOU2 based on playing the first one a whole gen later...then I realized I did the same thing w/ RDR...I didn’t play it until it was backwards compatible on the X1...it felt outdated for obvious reasons but I loved RDR2 tho cuz it easily eclipsed a lot of current gen games...I’m certain TLOU2 will do the same...about to jump back into TLOU now...gonna see how far I can get

just put my pre order in...radbrad just uploaded the walkthrough on youtube and has over 300k views already..i hit the why yall nikkas wanna spoil the game before you have the chance to play it TLOU is the greatest game of all time, im taking this playthrough serious and paying attention to every detail...to me what made tlou so great is the sneaking around and figuring out how to take out your enemies without being spotted, amazing gameplay...beat the first one for the 12th time this morning LET'S GO!!

It's crazy you see this and feel like next-gen won't be a big leap but then fast forward years later and their next gen game will make this look pretty wack. Playing TLOU remastered last night and the graphics don't look amazing anymore but in 2013 they were mind blowing.
