The responsibility of getting the package to the receiver properly falls with the shipper not the shipping company. The shipper should package the item properly and insure it. You can't ship a collector's edition inside a paper thin manila envelope. You mighty as well have just shipped it in the retail box directly. You want FedEx and UPS to baby packages. You're probably doubling or tripling the cost to ship them and increasing the days in transit substantially. To be perfectly honest, the blunt of this falls solely at the feet of FedEx & USPS. For years, they've been handling packages with little to no regard for the sanctity or wellbeing of the contents or the recipient. Sony and ND honored their end of the bargain. Everybody wants a handout, though. The middle man failed the customers here, not Sony. The Xbot propaganda needs to be culled, violently if need be.
A reckoning is coming.

If This was eBay and you or I sold something like that to a buyer eBay would force us to refund them no question.
