I hope this run showed people that we are still legit and can get some free agents to play here. Who should we pick up?

KG isnt going anywhere, he's either signing to us for 1 year or is retiring, he's too loyal to go to another team. With how big a competitor he is and how visibly salty he was with the loss, I'm betting on him signing for a year.

I'm really hoping Jeff Green can come back strong, him and Avery will be solid additions. I have no idea what to expect from Ray, But I hope he signs with us and is content playing behind Avery/finishing games for us.

Ainge is gonna move up in the draft and sign a solid big man first, and we're gonna move from there. Its gonna be exciting to see the keys be officially handed to Rondo from the jump next season.

I still hope we can lowkey sign Sean Williams, I think he has alot to offer our bench next year.

Good to see a thread from the Celtics massive on the coli, gonna be a great offseason this year. :myman:

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
I think the most important factor of this offseason is how much money KG will want to return. I don't mind giving him a two year deal but if he wants more than 10 million a year it'll cut into our cap space and give us much less flexibility.

I think Bass and Green should stay, with Bradley taking starting shooting guard spot. I have no issue with keeping Ray if he's willing to be 6th man and take mid level money.

I'd like to see us target someone like Royce White, Quincy Miller, Fab Melo in draft if we don't trade up. Nicholson could be a good fit for this team too.

And I better never hear Rondo trade rumors again!

If not Ray, I'd like to see us sign a combo guard that can play point guard as well. OJ Mayo as our sixth man would be nice.

Rondo/Dooling
Bradley/Ray/Moore
Pierce/Green/Miller
Bass/Jajuan/White
KG/Steimsma/Wilcox

Kill the Hibbert, Deron, Batum dreams... I wouldn't be shocked if they made a run at Hibbert but considering the way he plays and how much money we'd have to pay, I don't think it's worth it.

Maybe somebody like
Ersan Ilyasova, CJ Myles, OJ Mayo, Ryan Anderson, Javale McGee, Omer Asik, DJ Augustin, Delonte West, Andre Miller, Courtney Lee, Leaondro Barbosa, Chauncy Billups, Randy Foye, Michael Beasley, Chris Kaman, JR Smith, Lavoy Allen, Raymond Fellton, Terrence Williams, Johnny Flynn, and Jerryd Bayless

Those would be players I'd look at that are reasonable...

Ilyasova, Mayo, McGee, Anderson, and Beasley would demand decent money but the rest of them should be under MLE money.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Isn't Jeff Green an unrestricted free agent? Thought the Celtics had to cancel is contract so it wouldn't go against the cap.

Ray is likely done there. Some may be writing him off too soon as he was playing hurt. I got a feeling another contender will pick him up.

KG ain't going anywhere. Familiarity, Loyalty, & his role won't change with the Celtics. Don't think another contender can offer that.

They should take a look at Antwan Jamison if Bass is not resigned.

Ainge is in a good position to make an impact thru the draft and free agency. If he does it right no down years for the Celtics.

I could see the Celtics resigning KG and Ray and trying to bring in Humphries, Green, Bass, and putting young players around them to build for the future and for the vets to mentor

Kinda like a Eastern conference version of the Spurs

They'd have to have a good 10 man rotation to be able to manage the minutes of KG, Pierce, and Ray
