Just finished. IMO better than last season and actually had enough closure to leave it alone but I can't wait to see the movie.

Edward's expression when Uhtred stated terms for holding Northumbria and with King Constantine's scheming I can see the fukkery set in motion for Seven Kings Must Die.

Glad Uhtred finally got Bebbanburg.

I almost thought they forgot about Hild and they even brought back Uhtred's missing son for the finale

I wanted Brida to die for a bit now but I didn't expect to be saddened by her death. She deserved that shyt but she was Uhtred's OG homie

Extra points for making Aelswith likeable. I guess her assassination attempt season 4 gave her a sense of humor. I appreciated her goofiness this season.

Just finished it

A lot went on this season. I think some things went a little too quickly, but it was still great. I felt they could have done a 20 episode season to give all the plot lines their proper attention, but I’m not complaining about getting all these seasons on a show that isn’t widely popular.

At the finale montage, I forgot Tom Wamzgan (sp?) from Succession was in this show early on. I guess that was before Succession too

I still don’t know half of the characters names. They all sound so similiar…lol. But the main bad guy this season did a great job. I sincerely hated that guy, so the actor did a good job of playing the villain.

I didn’t know there was going to be a movie. I gotta look that up. Hopefully it comes out relatively soon.
