The Last Boy Scout (1991) appreciation thread!

Bruce Willis said he didn't like this flick at all. What's not to like??? That shyt is a classic early 90s guy flick which IMO is on a par with Die Hard. shyt is an underrated classic.

People talk about Pulp Fiction's dialogue, but LB has quotables from beginning to end:

- "Good morning gents. Is there a problem?"

"Yes officer as a matter of fact there is a problem. Apparently there are too many bullets in this gun....." *shoots cop point blank range*

- "You know there's a new invention called a razor"

"Too risky. I might start thinking of you and slash my wrists."

- "Where you going?"

"The bathroom? Why you wanna help? The doctor said I shouldn't lift anything heavy"

- "Wrong place, wrong time. Nothing personal."

"That's what you think. Last night I fukked ya wife"

"How do you know it was my wife?"

"Cos she said her husband was a big pimp looking muthafukka with a hat"

Great action movie. Very underrated. I will always love Bruce Willis as the non-shaven alcoholic chain-smokin loser who has no problem pulling the trigger.

It did have tons and tons of quotables from everyone.

"Excuse me. But did any of you stupid shytS bother to frisk this fukk!"



"You want to talk like a trash-mouth? Sound like your mother?" I have to hear this shyt all day, do I have to get it from you?"

Joe Hallenbeck: [Joe reaches out his hand, Jimmy slaps it] I'm a private detective.
Jimmy Dix: You're like a fukkin' lowlife to me.
Joe Hallenbeck: At least I didn't shyt my talent away on coke.
[Jimmy tries to punch Joe, who subsequently blocks his punch and pushes him on the ground]
Joe Hallenbeck: [noticing his spilled whiskey] I spilled my warm cup of piss.

Yes, "The Last Boy Scout" is a very, very underrated movie. It's another one of those movies you can look at over, and over again. So many quotables, so much action, and comedy that shouldn't be comedy. It's just a overall great movie. Halle Berry was looking good in it too......
