You missed the point. None of them can do what a black singer does. Sam Smith could never sing from the soul like K-Ci, R.Kelly or Wanya from Boys II Men. Adele could never sing like Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia or Jasmine Sullivan. And the main knock on Eminem is that his music lacks "soul". Are u white? You came in here:cape: pretty fast:mjpls:

this is why she is one of the best & one of my personal favorites in the game

whites are NOT doing that, sorry :yeshrug:

true,:ld:

most black singers got their start in the church choir

a lot of these new nikkas got their start in the shower
Breh you know what's sad?:ld:

There's so much singing talent in black churches and I'm not just talking about voice wise.ad-libbing,emotion, and little spins on the lyrics they would do. I remember sometimes I would hear a song in church and be disappointed when I heard the official version on the radio or off the cd.

They put there own personality into the song that plus a live band :ohlawd:

haha same here.

I remember being at a Family-friend's Wedding and the Bride Sang this one song that I've heard 100's of times, but when she sang it live in person?? :ooh::to: :wow:

I dont know, but That technical training and that Gospel background that just Translates well into mainstream music.

The industry doesnt want talented singers anymore. They need disposable artists

This whole song is a damn near an adlib compared to the cd version.

Man the women in my church used to add entire lines of lyrics seamlessly into a song off the top of the head.

:whoa:granted they were rather simple in nature. Varying forms of thanking god, or making it through something. it's like that style of singing you feel more involved in the subject matter. :ahh:

Rehearsed ooohs and ahhhhs just don't have the same feel no matter how good someone's voice is imo

Yeah Kim Burrell is one of the goat Gospel singers

But most r&b now is just rap with a melody.
industry cost saving by cutting down on musicians and letting people make r&b songs with FL studio and protocols :mjlol:

Maybe bring in a background vocalist. All cheap everything.

honestly whites aren't creative, they're very technical and can figure things out on a fundamental level....but they lack creativity, they think too much like robots, always striving for perfection instead of just putting their soul into it

As i said dmt is a finicky drug, u can inhale clouds, but if the temp is off, or u hit it wrong ur trip will be insignificant. It really comes down to the first hit. It has to be 100% on the $, or youll just waste the rest. It actually is supposed to take only 1 hit.

Lots of people have had dmt trips and became demonically possessed as i was. Alot of them are akin to "alien abduction" tho my experience wasnt like that.

My mind-state has been and always been still. My first acid trip was by myself and shyt was ez 200ug per tab. So no it wasnt that.

And yes, yes it is demonic. After that slight breakthrough. I became demonically possessed. And i do not mean no movie shyt. I mean heart wrenching mind blowing evil was happening to me.

And no that last part i believe to b true. I kept asking myself why he pop that nikka, and i revealed my stories to 2 people of different backrounds all god fearing and they said the exact same thing, my posession took on him in the scenario where we both saw evil, but he saw it only bcuz of me, i showed it to him :snoop:...

shyt is real in the spiritual realm and u dont want to open that gate

What though?

thread does some have truth to it....imo Sam Smith is one of the most overrated artist(just a choir boy backed by a major record label)
Recent white singers who are an exception:
Joss Stone
Amy Winehouse
Ellie Goulding
Daley

Very true. The older singers learned how to sing soulfully because they came up in the churches learned how to do runs. It's very rare to hear new school Black singers with that ability. It's taken alot of soul out of modern R&B music.

Taking church out of the young generation harmed the black youth more than anything. Its like the club is the new church.
