What has become what seems like is an everyday occurrence
I’ve grown numb to it

I remember being young watcjing that video of cops beating Rodney King on Inside Edition...and that was my first introduction to racism in America at 7 years old.

Never left my mind...to this day.

Anybody from the Westside specially Slauson and Crenshaw? Do y'all remember seeing the chrenshaw plaza burned to the ground . it was a crazy time because the SWAT was using the RTD/MTA as transport and mom had drive those cacs around so I was shook.

Why didn't they use those tanks I see in historic videos?

Man, my moms had to work all through the riots transporting pigs to riot sites and shyt. Never been some afraid for my mom as a kid.
