Funny how Utah bought him out twice.

He also has taken Reggie Jackson’s spot twice.

The Clippers got rid of him to replace him with Russ and the now the Nuggets got rid of him to replace him with Russ

And this is after Russ was the main driving force in getting him booted from OKC.

I know Reggie hate that man..

Nuggets reign on top was shorter than leprechauns. They haven’t made a single good move since winning that ring. They definitely going backwards
They have never beaten a 50’win team in the playoffs. They lucked out last year miami
Beat the celtics or else would be ringless

It's rumored Jokic pushed for Russ to be brought on. I can see his value of taking up PG duties with the second unit, otherwise he doesn't bring much else to what they need. They lost two dirty work 3 and D guys back to back years and haven't made up for those losses. If Russ can bring energy along with directing the second unit I believe it can work.

Denver needs MPJ to play to his contract’s worth

WHY JUST THEM?

NO REIGNING CHAMPION HAS MADE IT
PAST THE SECOND RD SINCE 2019.

they're the most recent champions who didn't have a dynasty run to their name, we could throw the raptors in that too but no one had faith in them repeating after kawhi left, same with Cavs after GS got KD

people actually thought the nuggets/bucks with their mvp players and dominiant regular seasons were gonna go on a run, i just don't think they're built like that

rest of these teams atleast have some history of running the table

I think that Russ is a good fit in Denver to be honest. They need a guy who will hustle, and rebound 20-30 minutes a night. If he can reign in the amount of dumb jumpers/night, he will help this squad. They really need another wing shooter, and another athletic big, since their 1st round pick got hurt in Summer League. DaRon Holmes was a good fit for Denver as well before getting hurt.

Russ's fall off is tough. He hasn't even lost any athleticism, he just can't shoot for shyt

The only way I think he can still be effective is in a 6th man role maybe, which looks like that's what he'll be doing in Denver.

No it’s not :heh: We’re just spoiled. Dudes like Bron, KD, Steph are anomaly’s that have us delusional

Russ is 35. His current role and production is historically right on par for guards. AI was getting ragdolled crossed up bad by 35. Marbury was 5 years into China by 35. Baron Davis was pawging and making documentaries by 35. Steve Frqncis was getting choked out and :francis: by 35
