With the exception of Mozgov and JR everybody looks great.

Delly has improved his decision making and his confidence is through the roof.

Blatt's already figured out his rotation. Cavs are playing much better defense than they did a year ago. Much better ball movement, much better pace, and they aren't really turning the ball over.

Just gotta get the 3 ball to go in better and they will steam roll through the regular season.

If Tristan can hit that mid range like he did tonight. :lupe:

JR really needs to rediscover his shot. I thought delly ran the offense better than Mo tonight. They both look good. Our bench mob is really, really good too.

You see how there finding Love when he has a mismatch? Last year we weren't looking for him so he stopped working hard to get position when he had a mismatch but this year wow. This was the best game love has played for us. His shot wasn't falling tonight so he was getting good looks in the post and drawing good fouls

J.R is basically a jump shooter now, a streaky one at that. When he's no on, he does very little to help the team. And I'm a JR fan.

Nah it's cause he's running with the first team so he gets a lot of open looks through lebron and love if he was running with the second team he would get more looks and run the offense through him

I think he does a lot more for the team than he gets credit for, even when his jumper is off. He's been good defensively and he's moving the ball. The ball doesnt get stuck in his hands like it used to previously in his career. He's making an effort to keep the offense flowing which is good for LBJ/Kev etc. He's constantly communicating with his teammates and is in the right places on the floor.

I thought last night he got a couple BS calls on him guarding Wade which is why he sat a lot but for the most part all he really needs to do is start hitting that 3 ball when hes open. He is making an effort to do all the little things which is all we really ask for.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Tristan's off-season

People forget how young the core is and that they are still not even in their primes yet.

----------

The rebounding machine spent his summer and holdout period working out across the country, but primarily in Miami getting in three-a-day workouts six days a week.

His agenda comprised of an early morning on-court workout followed by a rigorous core weight-lifting program and in the afternoon, a final on-court session.

And outside of those training shifts, he said he "ran a lot."

That's the impact Thompson wanted to have upon returning. He even knocked down a 15-foot jumper off a pick-and-pop play. That surprised just about everyone, except the power forward himself.

"This is what I worked for all summer long," he said. "A lot of players, when they get to the NBA, they have to figure out what their niche is and then once you figure that out, it's time to blossom. It's like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. I'm just going to keep growing my game."

He also used his extended summer to venture off beyond what he's accustomed to doing.

"I did some ball handling on the wing and kind of pick-and-roll action," he said. " I was working out like a guard with a lot of guard drills. Obviously doing that, I wasn't expecting to come in and play the (small forward), it was just getting a feel for the ball and getting outside of my comfort zone. When you got time on your hands, it's cool to explore and get a different feel for other spots on the court."
