I really like Derozan but there's a few things that don't fit with the Cavs:

1. Not a good shooter
2. Takes a lot of shots
3. Average defender

He's a good scorer but I don't know how he fits in on a team with Lebron, Kyrie & Love. Shump is a better fit as a starter too. Derozan wouldn't be happy playing for a future contract from the bench. I initially thought the same as you but I've changed my mind after thinking about it.
