Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Sounds good but I don't think I've seen a team defend the perimeter like the Warriors did last night. JR Smith hit one 3 last night and only took 4 shots. Frye only took one shot. That's just good perimeter defense. Best bet would be to move Smith around more and not have him just sitting behind the 3 point line waiting for the ball.

The Warriors played defense like they knew that the Cavs were the second best 3 point shooting team this season.

The Cavs played themselves into a box early on, their insistence on posting up LeBron & Love killed any type of flow, they should have just gone to PnR strictly like the Thunder. Don't over complicate things, go quickly before their defense sets and work off of that. You don't have to play at a fast pace, but there was too much catch the ball and then survey the court from Bron, they weren't even thinking of swinging the ball, it was just one or two passes then go into a terrible post up.

Get Kyrie & Love in the PnR with LeBron cutting to the rim.

Something I thought was missing was them swinging the ball which they did to near perfection against the Hawks but the problem with that is the Warriors don't really switch on the ball movement which means no one is really ever open. They need to do more off the ball movement to forces switches and bad rotations.

Was the East so bad that they were able to coast thru and not have to unload everything in their arsenal? Becuz too many times they looked confused last night.

Never understood why he doesn't do more of this. His best chance against Iggy comes when he catches it in the paint. The more he dribbles the worse he is against a defender like that.

@Malta was saying for them not to over-complicate things, but I don't believe that it's as simple as him getting the ball on a cut to the basket either. I'm starting to feel like this may be his toughest series since the very first Spurs series.

It's not simple, but using him on the ball in those stagnant sets and allowing the defense to set isn't smart. The Cavs can offesnsive rebound, that's largely how they were in the series last year, by allowing the defense to set and playing this rigid post up offense they're also limiting their 2nd chances because the Warriors are in position to rebound. The Thunder's simple offense of just going at the rim led to offensive rebounds, you want the Warriors in scramble mode, that would also free up the shooters. The Cavs looked exactly like they did vs the Raptors in game 3, just the epitome of :ld:

Last night was just frustrating to watch all together. Just a bad game overall while being on the big stage. Game two should determine the theme of the Finals. Cavs have to make some adjustments and move the ball more. Limit turnovers and lapses on defense. That what really kill them yesterday. Being a Cleveland sports fan will make you pessimistic but we still have to believe :to:.

I'm just pissed as this was a WINNABLE game and I feel like Cavs threw it away, and they CANNOT afford to throw away games to THIS team
yeah that shyt felt like a dagger. it will probably be the only winnable game in the series that was wide open for the cavs

the fuking bench, i still put this on lue

Lebron defense on curry, he did that all for nothing these dudes cant get any defensive board

Cavs can defend them. But can they make up for it on the other end of the court while tired??

That's when Kyrie comes into play. He has to defend + rebound or excel offensively.

It's as simple as that. LeBron can't do everything.
