Has there been any local talk about how the Cavs plan to guard GS? I've been thinking to extra small, maybe even have Bron at the 5 to better guard that hi/Lo PNR and limited minutes for TT so that he doesn't get exploited in the PNR but also so he doesn't get exposed at the FT line. What y'all see happening?
My guess is that they are going to try to trap Steph and force him to pass to Draymond while LeBron is guarding him.
It would still be a 3-2 offensive advantage by doing that but they obviously want the ball out of Curry's hands. I expect them to switch it up (zones, full court, half court pressure) and expect bigger contributions from Delly, Shump, and maybe Mozgov.
I'd roll out everything I had in Game 1. Be the aggressor....Cavs are notorious for letting the other team lay out how they want to play and then adjust.
I think that would be foolish here.
They plan on pushing the pace. I'd focus on creating turnovers and dominating the glass.
