You didn't know I don't care about TS%? Thought we were boys :dame:

Swap positions, Drummond in Tristans on the Cavs playing with Bron, and Tristan playing with the Pistons how do you think that turns out :mjpls: Where did I mention Tristan, this was about Dion who was drafted before the big fella, your disdain for the young 5 is most disheartening :to:

They in part didn't take him because they already had Tristan.

:yeshrug:

And we've been over this time and time again as to why that had to happen.

I don't think them taking Drummond wouldve helped against the Warriors or the Spurs. You can scheme him off the court if he's scoring constantly in the paint.

TT isn't great at free throws....but he can get in a groove and make over .70 percent at the line.

To me that's a big deal when you are a big that doesnt command double teams in the post, can't shoot, can't pass, and overall offensively limited.

What is Drummond great at right now other than being strong and freakishly athletic?

He's a great rebounder, and while he's not elite defensively he is still a better rim protector than Thompson (52.6 vs 52.8 opp FG% at rim) consider that those numbers are starters vs bench player.

Drummond is a work in progress, still just 22 years old and if you pulled him off that team and replaced him with Thompson they don't make the playoffs. Why do you hate all that I hold dear? :francis:

Because we acting like he's a KAT....or a AD. Or even a healthy Embiid.

When he's really a DeAndre.

:manny:

And let's not act like Reggie Jackson ain't the real reason as to why they beat out the Bulls and Wizards.

So just remove the 16pts/15rebs from the equation huh? That Reggie Jackson PnR look a whole lot different if he's not throwing the ball to the Young Drum, but I see how it is. I know you hate Duncan as well and virtually all the players I like :to:

Because I'd actually get the criticism of passing on Drummond and Jonas if they were KAT, AD, and Embiid (healthy) level prospects.

That's why I used them as examples.

And I don't hate Duncan :dahell:

The Waiters pick was awful so there will always be criticism, especially with the Cavs potentially needing a center.

Waiters was productive as a Cavalier. I wouldn't grade it as awful and they got more than a decent return for him.

I know shytting on him is the popular thing to do but he (like Kyrie) have had major issues off the court.

And they can find another center to replace Mozgov. It's not a crippling situation that you're trying to make it.

I never said it was crippling, I used a Clubber Lang quote in fun, you in playoff mode breh ease back. I already told you if it aint Duncan I want it to be yall and I'm of the belief the Cavs have a legit shot vs the Warriors.

Jag @ the company party :wow:

Man, I've gotten into my share of real life debates about NBA draft picks.

One of my old heads still doesn't talk to me because of how I sonned him about Derrick Williams during the peak of his hype.

Ill be right about Oladipo too....:mjtea2:

Did you like Oladipo or not? :lupe:

And Derrick Williams was easy to spot, what's funny though is that now with the rise of Draymond teams will be more likely to go for tweeners again.

If you search back we had discussions on Oladipo. The 3 players we talked about the most are Drum, Jonas, and Victor.

I remember asking you how many all-star games he would make and you was like :dame:.

Draymond was a whole different beast. I felt the same way about DeJaun Blair before finding out he didn't have knees.

Henningan has fukked up the build of the Magic, Oladipo does have AS potential but he's fukked as long as he's playing next to Payton. Dude just keeps drafting people who can't shoot (Oladip, Payton, Gordon) :wtf:

I liked Draymond, I secretly like tweeners as long as they can defend because it poses a weird matchup issue on the other side.

The pass that the Magic have been getting is low key criminal.

:mjpls:

Didn't #1 pick call Oladipo the next Jordan
