Martin is only shooting 36% from 3 this season () which is usually his strength. However, he would be getting more open looks with us and has a way quicker release than Jefferson. I see that # improving if we can add him.

Shumpert has been pretty terrible this season. His defense fell off quite a bit and he's shooting poorly. I think it's just an effort thing.

36 percent is above league average. He's only attempting 3 a game. The spacing provided on this team would help him out tremendously. Minnesota has terrible spacing problems and a really weird mix of players. He's the only shooter they have. That's why they are so bad.

I'm on board to pick him up. He's kinda like a JR smith where if he makes a couple in a row you won't know when he will miss again. I'm not sure he is the best defensive player, but he could definitely score better than Jefferson and create for himself off the bench.

I'm not really worried about his defense off the bench...he'd be draped by Delly and Shumpert...with Moz covering their backs.

And it definitely would be way better than having Richard Jefferson playing.

If he's traded and bought out he provides a lot more than Kevin Martin. We need a player like him that can be a difference maker (shooting, ball handling and defense). Martin gives you nothing but 3's.

Lance is a rock head. This team already has JR.

Chemistry....professionalism...maturity....leadership...unity....accountability. That's really what's holding this team back. Martin isn't a shining example but Lance is so far left of that mix.

That locker room isn't strong enough to make that work.
