I know its still early and I can accept a loss but yesterday was the worst LBJ has been beaten as a Cav on our home floor ever in Cavs history :damn:
Once you hit rock bottom, you can only go up from there :mjpls:

I don't see any overreactions, the Cavs are like OKC east right now, they have the talent to win the title but don't play to their potential.

And honestly speaking they do have some clear issues with the Spurs and Warriors.
I think the Warriors mentally own the Cavs and that is really hurting the Cavs when they play them

I think its an overreaction in the sense that none of this really matters until June. A lot of season left to adjust/make moves etc. While the Cavs have issues with Spurs and GSW they only have to beat one of them and they have a better chance of getting to the Finals than both of them.

One of those teams is going to be in the finals though, either one presents huge challenges for the Cavs because both relegate their $100 million PF to bench status.

No doubt, they have time to adjust... just not the personnel.:mjcry:
As bad as Love has been the player who really needs to step up is Kyrie. I think the Cavs can still win with Love even if he's on the bench, but they can't do it with Kyrie getting raped by the opposing pg and doing nothing on the offensive end.

At this point they're hoping for a OKC/LAC upset and an injury.

IMHO opinion the Cavs, Lebron, Love and Blatt need to have a real sit down on what to really do with this offense to consistently run it in a fashion that will keep the opponent off balance. Unless its a designed/bailout ISO play that calls for space, they need constant player movement to shift the opponents defensive floor balance, because top echelon teams like SA and GS who are dying for them to play ISO. Also they need to utilize the triangle pass to get Love the ball when he's on the block/elbows and he has to help them out by doing his work early and aggressively to get position and demand the ball like he was doing in the early part of the season before Kyrie came back. Because outside of Lebron and JR, no one seems to know how to consistently get him the ball when he does have position. When he does get the ball he can drive into the paint when he gets past his man and go up weak as hell, utilize the board or floater. One last thing is one either him or Bron post's up they have to stop dragging the immediate corner defender to them (Shump and Jefferson are the biggest culprits off that), a perfect of example of that was the steal by curry last night.

Lastly they need a more dynamic defensive gameplay in relation to pick and roll coverages etc, because continually high hedging and doubling the ball handler when you dont need to causes alot of the break down on rotations. Kyrie HAS to do a better job of navigating the picks and jumping out on them aggressively and learning how to funnel the ball handler to the strong side of the floor (need to watch cunningham on how to navigate picks).

The Cavs match up better with the spurs because they have more conventional big men.

People forget that in the finals injuries come up a lot.if Wade doesn't have bad knees in 2013 maybe the heat beat the Spurs in 5 and not 7.

If Wade Knees aren't totally gone in 2014 maybe the Heat are able to take the Spurs to 6 or 7 games.

In 1989 maybe if Magics hamstrings don't blow out they don't get swept by the pistons.

In 1991 maybe if Worthy ankle doesn't get fukked up in the blazers series they the Lakers are able to put the bulls in a 2-0 deficit.

Hell look at last year's finals.
