I got a strange feeling he's been playing in the D-League hurt and decided to get surgery now so he could stay on the roster.
This is literally 2 days before the Cavs have to decide if they are cutting Cunningham or not.
If they don't they won't have an open roster spot the rest of the year unless they decide to eat additional guaranteed salary.
