I think the Warriors really do have a mental advantage over the Cavs. I'm not saying that to downplay the Warriors, like the Cavs only lost because of a lack of mental strength. It's a compliment to the Warriors.

Lebron's been trying to get the Cavs a championship for the majority of his career. Lebron loses in the finals a lot more than he wins. Lebron is aging and his best years are likely behind him. They might have talent (that calls for high salaries like you pointed out), but clearly they either crumble under pressure or they aren't as talented as their competition. If they face the Warriors in the finals, I'd say they are the underdogs in that mash up. I'd like to see them win
