I was just asking a friend of mine wtf is going on. I'm not a big NBA guy anymore but it's just weird guys will show zero effort and see no change in playing time in the league. Whereas in the NFL this stuff gets you benched. I saw a clip of Ayton half assing it recently, and Poole been doing this shyt for awhile now. He got his money and tuned out, seems obvious...

Even with the guarantees it seems like there is more leverage to sit guys though right? You paying him regardless and most guys can't successfully demand a trade, why not just bench guys until they get on the same page with the team/coaches?

Try explaining to your owner why you are benching a guy getting paid 20 plus million a year when you are already on the hot seat (billups and unseld jr)
Their teams suck that sadly playing poole and ayton is still their best chance of winning
