The Lakers have no game plan on Joker because he's so difficult to guard because he facilitates the offense, he's not a score first player. He'd rather get his teammates involved, BUT! if he has to take over, he will if he needs to! So it's hard to guard someone like that and if you double team him...he's passing it to the open player, etc.

You shutdown him as a scorer, he will pass to open shooters, make plays for shooters, make plays on offense and help to make room for shooters(pick & roll )with his size
If you shudown him as a passer, he will take over snd score buckets himself. He can score with any type of shot and can shoot from anywhere. And murray/kcp/porter/bruce brown can pass and make plays for him too, they got speed to burn as well.
If you try to bully him physically and restraint him in the paint, you get into endless foul trouble everytime he drives to the rim. And he will kill you with free throws.
Its a pick your poison type problem.
