All those matches and somehow the chemistry is still in the negatives.
For real, I can only think of one good-very good match between the two, and I'm only just guessing. Their styles can mesh well with others, but against each other, it's just basic, bare bones, and clunky. And that's even if they're in No DQ/specialty matches

They've faced everywhere but WM and that's ultimately where this match won't end up happening at
WWE tried very very hard to make Orton on the same level as Cena... hell they wanted Orton to be Cena's equal which would explain why Orton damn near has the same amount of title reigns that Cena has (Orton will earn his 13th title reign if they do go with the Bray title plan) but Orton always seem to lack something to make the cypher complete

Its pretty crazy because orton has gotten more time and leash on this rivalry and way more matchups, but styles surpassed it in half a yearWWE tried so hard to make this a thing.
Most forced "epic rivalry" of all time. Only thing I remember is orton booting the fukk out cena's dad.

probably the most forced rivalry of all time. They wanted Cena/Orton to reach Flair/Sting, Warrior/Hogan, and Rock/Austin, when it actually didn't even reach X-Pac/D'Lo Brown levels (which isn't a slight on neither of those two 
). It was the main event version of Kofi/Dolph

I wouldnt go that far but legit, cena created better rivalries with punk and styles and rock in much less time. batista's last cena fued was pretty good too.

Very true. Pretty weird. Cena and Orton's styles simply don't sync up well. The Cena/Lashley feud was good too, even if we already knew the outcome
