I don't like this team. Most Jets fans don't like this team. We're astonished that they could be in this position. Many are angry knowing it could possibly give Tanny and company another chance.

Most fans are hoping the Jets miss the playoffs so that Tanny (and Rex) will be gone, and we can get a better draft pick. Just like they were rooting for them to miss the playoffs last year to get rid of Schottenheimer and get a better draft pick.
It's addition by subtraction.
I personally can't root against my team. Not worried about our draft position right now, especially if there's a chance to make the playoffs. I don't care if we get bounced out early, at least we made it.
And even a playoff birth probably wont save Tannenbaum's job. Anything short of an AFC Championship appearance, and Tanny is shown the door IMO.

This is hillarious..this team is struggling and looking awful right now offenisvely yet they are in it..
Though i still dont think they are anythign close to a playoff team and if they continue to play this way on offense either San Diego or Buffalo will beat them because those teams can at least score once in awhile unlike the last two teams the Jets have played..so i dont think they can afford to have the same offensive droughts and stay in the game..
Still hillarious that you take into account they beat teams they are supposed to this year and the fact the Steelers and Bengals play each other this isnt overly far fetched

C`mon man, any NFL fan would get excited if their team had a shot at the playoffs week 17, we all want to play 18 games.
All I`m saying is with Jets folklore they`ll win the next 2 and lose the finale, just to make it burn.

If somehow getting into the playlets buys Tannenbaum and company leeway, then the problems for that team run deeper than I thought.
