you forget this is Reynolds second time playing dead pool and the first time was Ben Affleck in Dare Devil level bad.

Yeah I watched it Saturday and thought it was cool. People may have just been aching for an R rated movie and this filled the void for them. Also, helps that it used that R rating to differentiate from the rest of the super hero movies.

Doesn't matter. I found myself hating him for the reasons that you should hate a villain- because he's sadistic and arrogant. Which feels so much better than hating a villain because they're doing a piss poor job of being the Ledger's Joker.

I've been waiting for a Deadpool movie with a proper depiction of the character for a decade and I got it. It's been cool to see non-comic book heads become aware and gravitate toward this character as well. If you liked the movie cool, if you didn't that's cool too. Different strokes for different folks, I always say.

Besides, why get salty at IMDB ratings? It's not that serious.

IMDb ratings don't mean anything unless the movie is at least 3 years old because few people go to IMDb unless they really like or hate a movie, few are giving 4-7 on there when the movie is newish

I definitely think Ultron was the bigger disappointment. I don't think every movie is going to have or need a great villain but I found Deadpool's much more than serviceable.

Just saw Deadpool.... fell in the marvel critic fanboy trap yet again. I watched a bootleg, of course.

The movie was a decent action flick. I never laughed. I chuckled a few times (mabybe not my type of humor) but the praise it's been getting is blowing my mind

It's like if a few "reviewers" praise a movie, these retards will go see the movie and praise it, even if they dont like it (just so they can be "one of the cool kids").
The same shyt happened with BVS. Ppl were arguing saying that movie sucks without even seeing the movie.
They were saying that just because some critic said it.
I've seen a guy in the BVS thread talking shyt about BVS for 10 pages. And he didnt even go see it.
