Arum been trying to work with Haymon. Oscar will never work with Haymon but he will try to mimic it with the Spanish channels but investors don't trust Oscar cuz he mismanaged GBP. Oscar treynna get those Spanish channels like Telemundo, Univision to work with him but they already got fights and they got sponsors. Don't be shocked to see Haymon and Arum in the future unless things changed after the shenanigans pulled on the MayPac fiasco

True Indeed....Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormak spoke on his issues with Golden Boy and why he ended his relationship with Golden Boy and is now rolling with Team Haymon:

Yormark said he ended the relationship with Golden Boy after being unhappy with the way it was promoting shows at Barclays.
"Candidly, there are a lot of reasons I walked away from the relationship [with Golden Boy]," Yormark said.

"The biggest, however, is the fact that over the course of the last year, they weren't doing a very good job with us as far as promoting, selling tickets, getting on the ground and, for that matter, putting on good fights. I felt that for the benefit of our building, I needed to go out there and become a little bit more of an open room.

So he was unhappy with Oscar for the year where Al Haymon wouldn't allow any of his fighters under GBP to actually fight anyone worth a damn? :what:

:francis: You heard him....

He didn't like Oscar's business model it wasn't selling tickets at the gate..amongst other reasons. .......

But what do you expect....it's hard to expect Professionalisim from a Coke Sniffing Cross Dresser

Barclays had an option

And Haymons approach works......

No hard feelings.....it's Business :yeshrug:

gotta respect what this man is attempting. its ambitious as hell and hope it works. for the longest time people been talking about boxing golden era when the big fights was regularly on netwrok tv. im not sure that holds water any more since the advent of social media and HBO’s 24/7 and its descendants. seems fighters for the most part know how to get themselves known in 2015 and can be crossover stars. but still, would be good to see a different business model than the same ol pay per view shabang. and the hbo monopoly is never healthy.

Exactly HBO business model wasn't only unhealthy but ILLEGAL....

Sen. Harry Reid accused HBO and SHOWTIME of avoiding the classification of being a PROMOTER to no only avoid liabilities dealing with the fighters but also fees associated with the role.

When it's clear HBO does more than just BROADCASTS the fight...

As evident in the numerous times HBO has been accused by fighters of MAKING THEM fight at a catch weight or denying them right to fight certain HBO "fighters" like GOLOVOKIN simply cause their seen as NOT MARKETABLE or Fukk up their business model.

Since GGG is signed EXCLUSIVLEY to HBO
