It's cool they're trying to recreate this, but they should've just left it alone. The Tunnel will never ever compare to the original. And this has nothing to do with the music that's causing this. It's more so reflects the city. New York just isn't the same place, and people need to stop acting like it is. Again, nothing to do with the music. The energy of the original just isn't around the city of NYC.

Nah, I agree. I'm just happy to have lived through the actual Tunnel era. But if something does come out of it, I hope this new resurgence betters the NY Hip Hop scene and brings the excitement back. But we shall see where this goes.

Yeah....this city is like a joke now. The Tunnel in the era of yuppie trustfuded hipsterfied NYC seems like a tourist attraction more than anything in real hip-hop. That era is dead and gone and ain't coming back.

I'd support just as something to do out of the ordinary for me. And to support live hip-hop period.
