right now id put baylor in, since they won the big 12, and beat tcu heads up. if ohio st beats wisky with its 3rd string qb, you can debate between baylor and ohio st for that last spot barring fsu, oregon and bama win out. ohio state has the worst loss of the 2, and of any of the contenders, getting worked at home vs va tech. on the outside looking in right now

the thing is with this committee is even when the chairman gets on there and explains the decisions its not concrete because he cant possibly articulate the thought process down to a t of every single member. last week he was all over the place. i almost think they are splitting hairs with tcu and baylor unless theyre waiting for baylor to beat kansas st and that might vault them over tcu in the mind's of most of the committee. baylor got dominated in the 4th quarter vs west virginia and lost by 14. they only had two one score or less wins otherwise with two wins over ranked teams including tcu. tcu had the close loss to baylor, but has had 3 wins by one score or less and currently 3 ranked wins.

it almost seems like its going to come down to baylor's 14 pt loss vs wv, vs their 3 pt win over tcu. does that 14 pt loss override the head to head in the minds of most? im kinda torn because tcu choked away that game then the end was kinda marred by similar wr/db contact on a pass play that wasnt called when tcu had possession in a tie game then was called when baylor had possession when it was tied. that said i probably would take baylor.

Who has FSU been better than between the top 6 teams? Since you like to come off as objective(even though you hate on the ACC)

What I have been saying about FSU all year is exactly what you saw in that Florida game yesterday. FSU is not a good team, they can't dominate inferior competition and the only reason they are undefeated is because their talent wins out at the end of the game.

Florida should have been them by 30 and the reason they didn't is because Florida is very bad football team with an awful offense.

Florida State will get ran off the field by anyone in the top 6.

You're not making much sense. I can sit here and say LSU wasn't worth a damn and Bama struggled with them. I can say Arky was terrible and Bama struggled with them. The same "terrible" Florida team hung 27 on LSU while Bama struggled to get untracked. So if a team loses the turnover battle and avg starting field position is their own 12 yd line for most of the game and only give up 19 points and still get a W....that says more about the team that won than the team that lost. Auburn offense looked like trash against a defense (UGA) that got shredded by this UF team with an "awful offense", but I guess it's cool to look past Bama giving up damn near half a rack in yards by half to Auburn?? We can play this game with the #1 team in the country and to single out the only team that hasn't lost is kinda wack.

If you believe the 4 "best" teams has to be in the top 4, then Alabama and Oregon are in even if they lose this weekend huh?

Yep. If TCU gets in over Baylor assuming they both win next week, why should we have conferences??

:dwillhuh: Yoooo no lie...I think somebody at ESPN made a mistake and released one of the rankings early. I'm watching Sportscenter and the scroll-bar at the bottom put up the preview for the ACC Championship and it said "4 Florida State vs 11 Georgia Tech" :patrice:

EDIT: :pachaha:Yo I think they did cause the scroll-bar says "5 Ohio State vs 13 Wisconsin" & "9 Kansas State vs 6 Baylor" too
