if the playoff was around last year, bama woulda made it even if they didn't play in the SEC title game.

I think you are making an assumption here. The big 10 is such a weak conference, I don't think beating Wisconsin will magically make Ohio State leap frog Miss St. Both have 1 loss and that home loss to V-tech is alot worse than losing to #1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

remember a bottom of the SEC West LSU squad beat Wisconsin to start the year. that shows how weak the big 10 is.

The coaches in the room are nuanced enough to know that OSU had a QB that hadnt played in 2 years and four new offensive linemen against VT, just like they're nuanced enough to know that Florida state beat a decent Oklahoma State team with Walsh, rather than a below avg 5-5 team without him. Ohio State has gotten markedly better as the season gone on and the upwards trajectory certainly counts for something. VT was a bad loss but hey Ohio State could have scheduled UT Martin instead like Miss State did.

You mean like
- UA that lost on the road by a TD to the #8 team
-Oregon lost by a TD to a 2 loss Zona team
- Miss state lost on the road by 5 to #1 bama
- TCU loss on the road by 3 to the #7 team.

FSU has not played a team of the caliber of the teams that beat the 4 teams that deserve being in the top 4.

If everyone played the same level of competition I'm all for your logic.

But Baylor's game against #12 KSU, who's currently ranked higher than Wisconsin falls on the same weekend as championship weekend, and if they win that game it'll give them share of the Big 12 championship.

Wisconsin goes to 7-3 Iowa and has 7-3 Minnesota at home next 2 games, they're a top 10 team if they win both. If it's OSU, TCU and Baylor at the end going for 1 spot, I see the committee picking OSU and avoiding the controversy. If it's for 2 spots, Baylor gets in ahead of TCU

a 3 loss wisky being top 10?

committee really wants ohio state for dem ratings

the committee is a joke, michigan state is prob kicking themselves for scheduling oregon on the road, if they just had a cupcake team they would have 1 loss

That's where this is heading they doing everything in they power to sneak 2 SEC schools they got UGA sitting in the cut as well.

why are u mad at this? according to you, the SEC is overrated. shouldn't you want to have 2 overrated SEC teams in the playoff so that your seminoles can win the national title?

if my team was in the playoff, I'd be rooting for teams that were overrated to make the playoffs. like ohio state. cause i know we'd beat em even though nikkas might think they are good.

shouldn't you want 2 SEC teams in since that would help ur team?

Iowa isn't even ranked and Minnesota is barely even in the top 25. I'm not understanding how either of those wins will be impressive enough to put them over a team that's currently ranked 4 spots ahead of them or even push them into the top 10. I'm not understand what controversy there would be. Baylor beat TCU head to head, they have a tougher SOS, and they would be co Big 12 champs.

all that means is alabama will smash ya'll in the playoff. Ohio State and the big 10 are a joke. I want them in the playoff not because they deserve it. but because I want to see another SEC team humiliate them.

If I was a ohio state fan, I would want to avoid the playoff this year so that my team doesn't get exposed again by the SEC for its lack of speed and quality defensive lineman.

Just stop. OSU has as much if not more speed as any team in the SEC. And as far as defensive linemen, Joey Bosa is quite possibly the best defensive linemen in the country and is only a sophomore. And our Michael Bennett is projected to be in the first round. You don't know what you're talking about, just stop.

LSU beat Wisconsin that could win the big 10. LSU has 2 national titles in the last decade. LSU has put about as many players into the NFL as any other school in the last 10 years.

beating LSU is ALWAYS a quality win.
Indiana beat mizzu that could win the sec

Indiana beat Missouri that could win the SEC. Indiana hasn't been near relevant in 15 years.
