I don't think anyone besides OSU fans would be mad about that. OSU lost by 14 points against a now 4-5 VT team who has ZERO quality wins.

If LSU beats Bama this week they would have 2 quality wins against the #11 and #5 teams and their only losses would've come against 2 teams in the top 4

Beating MSU would be cool............but MSU also has ZERO quality wins this season :yeshrug:
One more thing MSU beat 13 ranked Neb thats not a quality win though because they B10 right?

What quality wins does Nebraska even have though? This is the same team that nearly lost to lowly McNeese State. Big 10 teams just don't have any quality wins this season. If the opponents they beat were better no one would have an issue.

if those 4 teams in the top were to win out, they will be in the playoffs.

I don't see anybody jumping them.

Lol @ Marshall not being ranked at all...like they can't even be 25th?

Wisconsin lost to 3-5 Northwestern and their best win is fukkin Maryland

At least Marshall whoops up on these bullshyt teams they face....meanwhile Wisconsin losing to Northwestern and Georgia Tech got a loss to 4-5 North Carolina....Ohio State lost to 4-5 VA Tech

But Marshall can't even get a little bit of respect for taking care of business when so many other teams aren't taking care of business?

It's silly.

  1. Principles. The committee will select the teams using a process that distinguishes among otherwise comparable teams by considering:
    • Conference championships won,
    • Strength of schedule,
    • Head-to-head competition,
    • Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory), and,
    • Other relevant factors such as key injuries that may have affected a team’s performance during the season or likely will affect its postseason performance
Losses:
FSU-0
Auburn-1
Oregon-1
TCU-1

Conference Champ?*

FSU-yes
Oregon-yes
TCU-yes
Auburn-no

Head to head: N/A

Strength of schedule to this point:

Auburn-1
Oregon-20
Florida State-39
TCU-46

Wins over current top 25
Florida State-3
Auburn-3
Oregon-2
TCU-2

Top 25 games remaining

Florida State-1 (Duke?)
Auburn-2 (Georgia?) (Alabama?)
Oregon-2 (Utah?) (Arizona State?)
TCU-1 (Kansas State)

In no category does an undefeated FSU rank behind 4 other schools unless you're trolling. Auburn and Alabama are out unless they win the SEC. Deal with it.

I don't know auburn could still get in even if they don't win the SEC. :patrice:

They got the best resume of the 1 loss teams

Florida State in if they win out.
Mississippi St in if they win out.
Alabama in if they win out.
Oregon in if they win out
Arizona State in if they win out.
Michigan State SHOULD be in if they win out. Only loss coming 3 time zones away at Oregon, a game where they lead in the 4th. Beat Nebraska, has games against Ohio state and Nebraska/Wisconsin. I put them in over TCU/KState , ND, or non SEC Champ Auburn

That reply was made in context of a guy saying unbeaten FSU could not be top 4. I personally would place a non conference champion in the top 4 if they're only loss is to an unbeaten team (could be true) and clearly separated themselves from the rest (we'll see)

If Auburn has 2 losses and no one is undefeated, there's no argument for keeping them out, they would've more than likely lost to a top 5 UA in this scenario and #1 Miss State with a ton of ranked Ws

I'll refer you to my above post
