Even the rest of the committees rankings that determine the other bowls has some degree of fukkery going on.

Miss State jumped Mich State with neither playing yesterday and Miss State goes to Orange. If Mich State went to Orange the next highest ACC would be in Citrus. This gone knock every ACC team down a peg in the bowl order. Might knock The U, UNC, Pitt or VT out of a bowl.

Committee out there flexing even on the other bowls.

EXACTLY

I don't get how people don't see this. Folk are upset that TCU was dropped out of the top 4. Where was this outrage when they leaped FSU!? Explain how they deserved to be #3 before you complain about them dropping to #6

There is no outrage because it has always been understood that FSU is not coming out of the top 4 until they lose...I am one of the people that doesn't think seating matters in the playoffs, so I never saw a reason to be upset that teams were moved ahead of FSU because FSU had a seat that nobody was ever going to take from them unless they lost...

And no matter how close the games were I never ever thought for one second they would lose to an ACC team...after they beat ND I pretty much punched their ticket as going undefeated

Yeah I was expecting to see Clemson or Louisville in the citrus bowl. Is Watson gonna play in your bowl game?

What they get paid, a top 5 recruiting class? Gordon gets the Heisman? A chip next year? :mjlol:
money, its that simple. Do you honestly think that an Ohio State team that barely beat Michigan a week earlier is 59 points better than the 13th ranked team in the country?:what:

So this is where I disagree. It's not just about coming out of the top 4. It's about making a no loss team beg in the court of public opinion for a spot with the big boys. Every week they have to verbalize why they were a good team. If you took the name FSU out of it, it sounds exactly like the argument mid majors make.

The entire conversation for the past 2 months has been like "FSU is only top 4 because they have 0 losses. But WHEN they lose, how are we going to decide who is 3 and 4?"

I think seating matters because the anticipated Alabama/FSU match up in the first round looked like ESPN trying to set Jameis and FSU up for failure. That's why every sports analyst had FSU at #4 except for Pollack.

That was the last word after the South Carolina game but I haven't seen anything since.

On one hand he needs to go ahead and have surgery if he needs it because he is the truth.

On the other hand watching Stoudt lead your team is full of :mjcry:.

He needs to go ahead and have surgery anyway because fukk a Russel Athletic Bowl in the end. :manny:
