the lesson to be learned is without the big 12 title game, the big 12 teams have got to schedule tougher nonconference. that and we're headed for an 8 team playoff with all power 5 conference champs getting automatic bids as soon as the 4 team contract is up.

TCU beat K state more then baylor did so how do you justify this?

And Baylor Beat OU more than TCU did on the road so how do you justify this?

What I got out of it was they had the last 4 teams (3-6) at basically 3a 3b 3c 3d
TCU blew out a 2-10 team...not very impressive
FSU beats #11. Very impressive
Ohio State beats #13. Very impressive
Baylor beats K. State. Better win than TCU

look at it like this. OSU is ranked over Wisc and thus there should be no doubt that OSU would trounce Wisc
TCU is ranked over OSU going into the final week.

OSU trounced Wisc ...if TCU was ranked higher than OSU going into said week...doesnt that mean logically that TCU would be capable of trouncing Wisconsin as well because they were considered the better team?

Now for Baylor KSU was trounced by TCU so Baylor beating them in the finale should be irrelevant using the same logic. The only rational explaination to me is the H2H matchup and if thats the case Baylor shouldve been ranked ahead of them in the first place. Why move TCU up to #3?

Its stupid. They might as well not do the rankings until the final week and just pick the teams then. Because the week to week playoff ranking is obviously irrelevant.


Should've been TCU vs. Alabama, FSU vs. Oregon. But I aint mad...I have no horse in this race.

My personal opinion is on a neutral field i don't see how u pick osu to beat either tcu or baylor with a 3rd string qb

Oklahoma wont be top 25 after losing yeaterday, OSU beat top 10 MSU on the road in a blowout, beat Minny on the road in a snow storm, and #13 Minny 59-0 which had the nations #2 D and best back. I ask you did Cardale look like a 3rd stringer?

Bama will have a much easier time against OSU than they would have against TCU

Unfortunately, the Big 12 doesn't see it that way. They gave TCU a trophy too.

i would justify it by both wins being by a comfortable margin. the other advantage that baylor would have over tcu within the conference is baylor had 3 games that were decided by less than one score or they lost. tcu had 4 such games.
