They've been gaming the system since the beginning for the SEC and Big Ten. Ranking sorry teams high in preseason rankings and not dropping them so later they can say they played the 5th, 8th, 10th ranked team. Meanwhile those teams should've been ranked 30.
Saban got a lot of nerve talking about the smaller teams. Man been cheating and controlling the narrative for decades. That's why him and Dabo were so against playoff expansion. Dabo was against players being paid. The ones at the top want to keep things the same because it benefits them. That's why Saban retired the landscape is not to his advantage anymore. Take top talent and hold them on your team, so basically part of their monopoly cratered. NIL is the great equalizer, yes it has issues but it gives players and teams more options.
