Does anyone think the industry isn't "pushing" 50 because of musically what he represents? I mean the type of music 50 cent makes it really doesn't fit todays poppy trends...which is why 50 is still smart for spreading his wings and venturing other money opportunities..I think he has humbled down since the 50 vs Kanye West shyt..that was metaphysically the battle of Street Music vs. The Evolution of Hipster..and well Hipster won
How about Chief Keef? Gucci? Young Jeezy?
How are they poppin?
Musically they represent the same thing but 50 still can't make a single hot for his life right now
Not even just the fact that there acts out there making street music and popping...the whole "the industry isn't 'pushing' 50's music because it's too street" thing is like a double fallacious argument from the jump that assumes two things just aren't true
1. That 50's flopped singles have been too street
They haven't, well the vast majority of them haven't anyway...as previously stated he's tried EVERY angle
2. That 50 hasn't been given a push by his label
He has...and his single still flopped
Nothing sums these two points up more than 50 Cent performing My Life live on a top rated network mainstream television show, with noted legendary gangsta rap icon and the first person everyone thinks of when they think of the "streets"...Adam Levine

This is a roll out that 99% of rappers will never get to have, with millions of people being exposed to your song the day it's made available for purchase...and it doesn't happen without the full push, marketing might, money and corporate influence of Interscope Records
And it still flopped
