I was cracking up at the whole scene of Abel pulling up to the crib in a trench coat, sniffing couch pillows and blasting rails in the bathroom with his rat tail

It seems like Abel wrote a lot of this or heavily influenced it clearly with the discussion on pop music and the lines about Prince. And when he mentions her working with her best friend as her assistant which is similar to his relationship with his best friend Lamar in real life who like his business partner/manager.

People not gonna like the “he comes off as rapey” “yeah but I like that” that shyt was cringe

Thirteen sources tell Rolling Stone that ‘The Idol’ — Sam Levinson’s new show with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp — has gone wildly off the rails.

A report from April blamed the show’s overhaul on Tesfaye, who was reportedly unhappy that the story was focusing too much on Depp’s character, according to Deadline. A source with knowledge seconds that Tesfaye was the reason behind the shakeup, wanting to tone down the cult aspect of the storyline and pivot into something else entirely, dropping the “feminist lens” through which the show was being told as a result. “It was like the Weeknd wanted one show that was all about him — Sam was on board with that,” another source explains to Rolling Stone.

Visually, The Idol is great and Lily Rose Depp looks good.
